The Verdon Gorge Museum of Prehistory is the ideal place to visit as a family, as a couple or with friends. Come and explore the museum, Baume Bonne cave and the prehistoric village, where you can also take part in organised workshops.

Learn to light a fire without matches, knap a flint, fire an arrow and use an atlatl to throw a spear. These workshops are held 500m from the museum, at the reconstructed prehistoric village on the banks of the Verdon. Come along and have a go!

This archaeological site at Quinson offers evidence that man has lived in the Verdon for 400,000 years. Guided tours only. There is a 90-minute walk to the entrance of Baume Bonne cave.
